Kirei is the Japanese character signifying beautiful. Its Meanings also include clean, pure and truthful.

We chose this as the name of our company since it reflects our dedication to providing beautiful, sustainable design materials for elegant, healthy creative spaces. (Oh, by the way, it’s pronounced “kee-ray.”)

Since 2003, Kirei has been providing interior designers and architects with innovative materials that are visually interesting, functional and environmentally friendly. Our products are responsibly sourced, whether it be our coconut tiles that are made of reclaimed coconut shells, our Kirei Board and Bamboo panels that are sustainably harvested, or our EchoPanel material, which is made of 60% recycled plastic and recyclable at the end of life. We look to you to take our raw materials and bring them to life in your designs.

“Do Well by Doing Good” has been the guiding principle at Kirei, which is why we constantly aim to provide materials that are as low-impact to the environment as possible. Since each person has their own definition of “green” — is it recycled, reclaimed, local, zero-VOC? — we have come up with our best minimum standard of what we think will help those we work with create healthier spaces while reducing the impact on natural resources.

It’s a matter of deep pride to us that you include us in your personal and professional spaces, and we will do our best to help you in any way we can. We look for new things every day and want to be the best at what we do.

Our team strives to offer exceptional customer service, answer questions honestly and entirely, and work with each of your projects individually to make sure your needs are met or exceeded. Ask us if you have any questions or need any assistance with using our products in your designs.
